Sign Up

Visit codestax.co/signup  to create your account.

Email & Password

1. Enter your full name
2. Enter your email address
3. Choose a password (minimum 8 characters)
4. Confirm your password
5. Accept the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
6. Click Create Account

You’ll receive a verification email — click the link to activate your account.

OAuth Sign Up

You can also sign up using an existing account:

• GitHub — Recommended if your repositories are on GitHub. Grants CodeStax access to read your repos for scanning.
• Bitbucket — Recommended for Bitbucket users. Enables direct repository import and PR reviews.

Click the respective button on the signup page. You’ll be redirected to authorize CodeStax, then returned to complete onboarding.

Tip: Signing up with GitHub or Bitbucket automatically connects your SCM account, so you can import repositories immediately during onboarding.

Visit codestax.co/login  to sign in to your existing account.

• Enter your email and password, or
• Click Continue with GitHub / Continue with Bitbucket

Forgot Password

1. Click Forgot password? on the login page
2. Enter your email address
3. Check your inbox for a reset link
4. Set a new password (minimum 8 characters)

Account Security

• Account Lockout: After 5 failed login attempts, your account is temporarily locked for 15 minutes
• Session Expiry: Sessions expire after a configurable period. You’ll see an amber banner prompting you to re-authenticate
• Two-Factor Authentication: Available in Settings → Security (coming soon)
